A Federação Brasiliense de Dança Deportiva (FBDD) é a entidade que representa ao Conselho Nacional de Dança Desportiva do Brasil (CNDD) e tem como objetivo promover o breaking no Distrito Federal, organizando e promovendo os atletas (BBoys, BGirls e Kids) da capital federal.

A Dança Esportiva, também conhecida como Dancesport, é uma atividade que une esporte e dança, proporcionando benefícios físicos, bem-estar mental e relacionamentos sociais, além de permitir a participação em competições em todos os níveis.Dançada em par (casal), ela abrange 10 ritmos internacionais de danças de salão, divididos em duas modalidades:
🔸 Modalidade Standard: Valsa Lenta, Tango Internacional, Valsa Vienense, Slow Fox e Quickstep.
🔸 Modalidade Latin: Samba Internacional, Cha cha cha, Rumba, Paso Doble e Jive.Regida internacionalmente como esporte pela World Dancesport Federation - WDSF e nacionalmente pelo Conselho Nacional de Dança Desportiva e de Salão, CNDDS, a Dança Esportiva é praticada em todo o mundo. Ela foi reconhecida como Modalidade Olímpica pelo Comitê Olímpico Internacional (COI) em 04 de setembro de 1997 e já faz parte dos The World Games. Estamos ansiosos para vê-la brilhar nas Olimpíadas e conquistar seu lugar no quadro de medalhas!Além das danças Standard e Latin, outras modalidades também fazem parte da Dança Esportiva, como Rock 'N' Roll, Hip Hop, Salsa, Wheelchair, Showdance, Formation, Country Western, Boogie Woogie e Cheerleading.fonte: CNDD (Conselho Nacional de Dança Desportiva)
